This Still Life photo series was born from a spontaneous invitation that quickly turned into a visual exploration of form, function, and feeling.

Centered around the theme of morning rituals—movement, coffee, reflection—the shoot brings together objects that are part of the daily life and design language.

For this shoot, I curated a selection from my personal collection—objects that embody a spirit of playfulness, color, and intention. Each one contributes to a narrative of daily creativity, whether through material, form, or memory. The visual language is grounded in a bold, energetic palette, chosen deliberately to infuse the scene with contrast, warmth, and joy.

Nothing here is accidental—from the ceramic curves to the graphic lines, every element was placed with care to create a cohesive and immersive composition.

A key feature of the set is Taking Joy Seriously by Camille Walala—an inspiring book that encapsulates the heart of this project. Visually striking and conceptually aligned, it anchors the arrangement both thematically and graphically, reinforcing the message that joy, creativity, and design deserve a place in our daily rituals.

At its core, this project invites a pause—a moment to slow down, notice, and appreciate the intimate beauty of the objects we surround ourselves with. It’s about giving form to feeling, and making space for moments of lightness, play, and personal connection.
