All pieces are 100% locally handcrafted in ROMANIA. We purchase our fabrics from suppliers which are located in Europe. For our Knitwear series, we collaborate with small ateliers that share our dedication to ethical production practices. All of our products are manufactured locally under good conditions. In order to maintain a truly ethical process, we produce minimum stocks and work on a made to order basis, thus reducing the waist and over-production.

As for the collectible series, each art toy is created in 3D and assembled by hand, giving every piece its own little personality! Because it’s handmade, you might notice tiny differences—these are completely normal and part of what makes your piece one-of-a-kind. They’re simply little signs of the hands-on process and the care that goes into every single creation.

All artworks are professionally printed by the lovely team at Printoteca, using Hahnemühle William Turner 310gsm – a beautifully textured, 100% cotton fine art paper. The result is a rich, archival-quality print that feels as timeless as the art itself.

All products on www.ioanaboros.com are original creations by Ioana Boros. Whether it’s prints, t-shirts, or figurines, each piece starts from an original idea and is crafted with attention to detail. We do not sell reproductions or sourced products — everything you see on the site is part of the designer’s own creative universe.

Prices & Creative Work

The prices of products are set at the moment they appear on the website and may be adjusted in the case of special discounts. All prices are displayed in RON and do not include VAT. The prices of products, services, delivery, and other fees shown on ioanaboros.com are regularly updated but may be changed without prior notice.

Each product you see on our website is the result of dedicated and passionate work. The work of a designer is not measured only by the materials used or the production time, but also by the hours of creation, experimentation, and passion invested to transform an idea into a tangible product. Our products are authentic, each piece being crafted with care and dedication to reflect the uniqueness of our vision. The price of these creations reflects not only the quality of materials but also the complexity of the creative process behind each item – every detail is thought out, experimented with, and made to offer more than just a product: an artistic and functional experience.

By direct order from the site. To place an order on ioanaboros.com, we invite you to check out the offers on the site. When you find the product you want, select size, color and number of pieces and click the button at the bottom of page “Add to Cart“(shopping cart symbol).You can see all the products added to an order and when you finish shopping you have to click on the “View Cart” button, specify your delivery and billing information. To make an order, you will need to give us some mandatory information that must be true and real. This information is: delivery address, a correct phone number, and an e-mail address for receiving the order data. Once the order is complete, you agree to use your information in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy and to deliver the orders and information requested by you. Check the completed data at the end and click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button. You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. All products displayed on the site have shown on their page the status of their availability. Those that are referred to as “Out of stock!” mean they are not available in stock.

• Online with bank card through EuPlatesc (Visa / Maestro / Mastercard). – If you have chosen the payment method “Online by bank card” it is necessary to fill in a form with the information about your card in the secure page of the payment processor.
  – Payments with credit / debit cards issued under the Visa and MasterCard logo (Visa / Visa Electron and MasterCard / Maestro) are made through the “3-D Secure” system developed by organizations that ensure the same level of security for online transactions as made at the ATM or in the physical environment, at the merchant.
  – “3-D Secure” ensures first of all that no information related to your card is transferred or stored, at any time, on the store’s servers or on the payment processor’s servers, these data being directly entered into Visa systems. and MasterCard (only for Romania)

If you have any complaint about us email office@daringtrash.com giving full details including date of purchase and order and your full name and address and contact details. The Terms & Conditions together with all our policies and procedures will be governed by and construed in accordance to the Romanian law and the relevant Courts of Romania will have exclusive jurisdiction.

We aim to provide you with full satisfaction in regards to your experience with our website and services. If you are unsatisfied with your order, you can arrange to complimentary return and refund. Please notify us via email. You can return any item purchased on our store within 14 days from the delivery date. Here’s how:

The buyer has the right to notify the trader in writing that he renounces the purchase without penalty and without invoking a reason and returns the products within 14 days from the delivery date or, in the case of service provision, from the conclusion of the contract. The direct costs of returning the products are the responsibility of the buyer. IoanaBoros.com will return the equivalent orders within no more than 14 days from the date of written termination of the contract. Backfill and return conditions do NOT include shipping costs. To be eligible for product returns, they must be in the same condition that they were delivered to you.

Important Note:

The following conditions must be met for the return to be accepted and the refund processed:

• complete the online Return Form (download here) and send it to us within (14) days after receiving the products;
• item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
• item(s) must be returned the original condition received. All garment tags must still be attached and any packaging provided (boxes) is considered part of the product and must be returned to receive a refund.
•  item(s)must be returned in the original packaging they were sent to ensure that products are received undamaged.

If your return does not meet the conditions listed, we will not be able to issue the refund and the package will be sent back to you.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Important Note: 

• Regular priced products: Refunds apply only to products sold at regular price. Discounted items cannot be returned for a refund.
• Repeated returns: Frequent cancellations or returns may be considered abusive. We reserve the right to determine who can access our services.
• Products with visible damage upon delivery: If the package shows visible damage at the time of delivery, please refuse the shipment and contact us immediately.
• Online payment processor: The online payment processor has no obligation to cover any costs related to your return request or refund and will not be held responsible to the customer for these matters.

All products sold by SC Daring Trash SRL are checked before delivery and come with a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects, in accordance with Law no. 449/2003.

The warranty covers only manufacturing defects and is valid if the product has been used properly and is accompanied by the proof of purchase. Normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use are not considered defects.

If the product does not match the description or presents manufacturing defects, the consumer has the right to free repair or replacement. Customized or made-to-order products cannot be returned for personal preference; the warranty covers only manufacturing defects.

Return or refund procedure:

• The consumer must notify the operator and send the product within 14 calendar days from receipt, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014.
• Refund or replacement will be carried out after the product has been inspected and the defect confirmed.

Quality Check & Color Disclaimer
We put a lot of love and care into making sure each product is top-notch before it reaches you. Every item is carefully inspected for quality, and any issues or defects are checked thoroughly before shipment. That said, we know that every monitor is a little different, and while we try to capture the true colors of our products, there’s a small chance they may appear slightly different on your screen. So, we can’t promise that the color you see is a perfect match with the real thing. Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns based on color differences or any defects caused by this. Thanks for understanding!

Will limited edition products be restocked?
Limited edition products are strictly limited and will not be reproduced. Once sold out, they won’t be available on the site.

Prints

Are prints available in stock?
No, prints are made to order. After placing your order, we create each print specifically for you, and delivery can take up to 7 days. Shipping time is calculated from the moment your order is completed. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is shipped.

Do you sell framed prints?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently sell framed prints online. All prints are standard sizes, so finding a suitable and affordable frame is easy.

What is a giclée print and what materials do you use?
A giclée print is a fine art print made with a professional inkjet printer. The paper and inks have archival quality, meaning they can last a lifetime if kept in good conditions (behind glass, away from UV light and humidity). We use Hahnemühle William Turner 310gsm archival paper for our prints.

Who do you collaborate with for prints?
We collaborate with Printoteca to ensure each print is created using the highest quality materials.

T-Shirts

What sizes and materials are the t-shirts?
T-shirts have an oversized fit, generally suitable for XS–M, and sometimes L. They are made from 100% cotton, sewn by hand, and digitally printed.

Are the t-shirts unisex or are there separate versions for men/women?
Our t-shirts are designed to be worn by everyone. Most models are unisex and fit both men and women, but the choice depends on height, size, and, of course, personal taste.

Can I order a custom print different from the ones on the site?
Unfortunately, no. We work with limited edition series, and designs are fixed per collection. Prints for black t-shirts remain the same for white t-shirts to maintain the visual identity of each design.

How should I wash my t-shirts?
To preserve the print, wash at 30°C, inside out, without bleach, and avoid tumble drying.

Do the t-shirts shrink after washing?
Our t-shirts are made from 100% high-quality cotton, pre-washed industrially before shipping to minimize shrinkage. By following the care instructions (washing at 30°C inside out, no bleach, no tumble dryer), the t-shirts maintain their original shape and size.

Are there differences between white and black t-shirts?
Yes, a small material difference: the white t-shirt is softer and finer, while the black t-shirt is slightly thicker and firmer due to the dyeing and finishing process.

Can I exchange or return a t-shirt?

Yes, you can! We aim to ensure you are fully satisfied with your experience on our website and with our products. If you are not happy with your order, you can arrange a complimentary return and refund.

Knitwear

How are the knitwear series made?
Knitwear is produced in collaboration with Demira in limited series. Each series includes two models, with 10 pieces of each model. Usually, these items are released once a year or depending on the collaboration availability.

Collectible Figurines 

What materials are used for  collectible figurines?
The figurines are made from 3D printed resin and carefully assembled by hand. Each piece is unique, with small differences that add to its charm.

What does “collectible figurine” mean?
A collectible figurine is an item created in limited editions, with attention to detail and quality materials, intended for display, collection, and admiration, not casual play.

• They are unique or part of limited series, so they aren’t mass-produced.
• Made carefully by hand or with special techniques, like 3D printing or hand painting.
• Designed to be displayed and collected, with value coming from design, exclusivity, and craftsmanship.

Can the figurines be customized?
No, figurines are strictly part of limited series and unique collections, so they cannot be customized.

How should I care for the figurines?

• Keep them away from direct sunlight and humidity.
• Clean gently with a soft brush.

Why do some figurines look slightly different?
Each piece is hand-assembled, so small differences or imperfections are normal and make each figurine unique and special.

Are the figurines fragile?
Yes, as they are made from resin, the figurines should be handled with care. We recommend avoiding shocks or drops.

Can the figurines be displayed outdoors?
We recommend keeping the figurines indoors, away from direct sunlight and humidity, to preserve their appearance over time.

Why are the figurines priced higher?
Our figurines are unique collectible pieces, made from resin, 3D printed, assembled, and hand-painted in detail. Each model is part of a limited series and comes with its own packaging. The price reflects the time, attention to detail, and the creative idea behind each piece, not just the materials used.

Can products be purchased from outside Romania?
At the moment, we only ship within Romania, but we are working on expanding international delivery. If you would like to place an order from another country, please email us at office@daringtrash.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Whether it’s prints, t-shirts, or figurines, each piece starts from an original idea and is crafted with attention to detail.
