I’m Ioana, a freelance designer and illustrator based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I graduated from the University of Art and Design (UAD) with a background in fashion design and have several years of industry experience. Over time, my practice has shifted toward illustration and visual storytelling. I work with geometric forms, bold colour palettes, and contemporary print language, combining structure with a playful, expressive approach. My focus is on creating work that is clear, vibrant, and emotionally uplifting. At the moment, I develop limited-edition pieces that translate these ideas into physical objects — including prints, textiles, and collectible works. Each piece is an exploration of colour, optimism, and the small details that make everyday life feel brighter. I believe there is still plenty of good to be found in everyday life, and I aim to reflect that in everything I make.
